Pacific Bell is the major local telephone service provider to the state of California & Nevada. Recently it has entered into other telecommunications market sectors such as Long Distance service, Internet Access and wireless digital PCs.
I as a application programmer was responsible for enhancing and implementing Financial applications to meet the requirements of Pacific Bell. The project involves mandatory enhancements due to changes in the federal and state laws and in the business rules of Pacific Bell. The project also involved making the application Year2000 compliant. It involves renovation and testing of the programs.
